I have an obsession with chasing and capturing the rising and setting sun and have so many (in my opinion) GREAT photographs, that I have decided to dedicate a whole blog post to celebrating the sun. This post will simply comprise of photographs I have taken on my Iphone with a tag of where they were taken.

So, as autumn wraps itself around us and the ever decreasing daylight hours of winter approach, the chances of capturing the beauty of the sun as it plays hide and seek behind the clouds, is few and far berween. So what better time than now, during the darkest and dampest months of the year, to share some glorious images of the very essense of life itself and offer up a 'Celebration of the Sun'.

Here we go, let's hope they brighten up your day...ENJOY!

ACHMELVICH - SCOTLAND

To really feel, is to sit watching the sun rise over the ocean and still be sitting when it sets. There's nothing like having the time to appreciate the beautiful sights that nature offers including the ever changing hue of the sky as the sun awakens or bids farewell to each new day.

.WICK, SCOTLAND - Look upon the beauty of the sun and appreciate how far you've come.
