GLENCOE DAY 11

My FAVOURITE road of all time!

A misty, moody Glencoe, the road that keeps on giving. So WOWED by the awesome scenery that I had to turn around and drive it all over again!

This road evokes an inexplicable emotion deep within me and moves me to tears every time I drive it... there have been a fair few. You have to experience it to understand it, sounds quite profound I know but trust me, it's true.

GLENCOE AT ITS MOODIEST

Ended the day much further south on the impressive shores of Loch Lomond and Loch Long...and there are midges. They're out early, have found us and are relentless little buggers. If they like your blood (poor Joe) your'e in for a rather uncomfortable night.

Our park up for the night - the car park of a pub called THE SLANJ. Great little spot, lovely pub with great food and space for up to 4 campers overnight (sometimes more depending on the time of year). It even has a small shop and breakfast shack in the car park for campers in the morning...a cracking find.

This was to be our last evening in Scotland and none of want to leave. The trip has been amazing. Our last day tomorrow exploring Loch Lomond.

See what our last day had to offer in tomorrows LAST NC500 blog!
