A bracing start to the day on the water in the lovely Plockton, seal spotting and the trip did not disappoint, we spotted loads. We even spotted a rare pair of breeding White Eagles...whatever else happens today, Chris is a very happy man.
SKYE
Back into Little Blue and over the bridge to Skye. Amazing Skye, so glad we decided to include this somewhat fleeting visit. With its incredible 'out of this world' landscape, its sultry, muted colours and Fairy Pools all imprinted on my mind, not to mention the taste of Talisker whiskey lingering on my tongue, we vow to return. This beautiful island is worthy of a trip in its own right...we WILL be back and of course we'll be stopping over in Plockton again too.

Just so you know, the roads are narrow and whatever is crossing takes priority, so slow down and enjoy the scenery...even if it is sometimes the back end of a cow!
