SURPRISE!
Little Blue has been part of the family for only five short days and already I can't imagine life without her. Packed away the awning and we left our recce site in Poole for a whole different experience in the north of England.
Up to the beautiful Peak District National Park to surprise our middle son (Eej), who had excitedly viewed the camper with us before we purchased...and he didn't know we were coming for him. So when we unexpectedly pulled up outside his UNI house in the lovely Sheffield, he was so incredibly excited. I couldn't wait for him to experience Little Blue for himself and neither could he.
He also surprised us with this gorgeous picture for Little Blue of two wild swimmers and the colours are perfect.
With a bag speedily packed he was on board Little Blue for a two night stay in The Peak District, one night on EHU and one night wild camping. The leisure battery will be put to the test!
Little Blue did not disappoint. With a comfortable sleep, Eej in the pop top and us on the rock and roll bed, hearty van cooked meals, warm drinks, long walks & pub stops, games and a portable patio heater (plugged into the EHU) providing warmth, he was impressed.
He is now counting the many months until he is 23 (he's not even 22 yet!) when he can get camper insurance and take her on adventures of his own...DEFINITELY his mothers son!
We even found time to cover the table! Little Blue is beginning to look like ours.
SHARING ADVENTURES ALWAYS FEELS BEST
